Warhammer 40K. Warhammer Fantasy. Space Hulk. Blood Bowl. Mordheim: City of the Damned. These are all Games Workshop properties that have electronic video games being developed. Let’s add one more to the list. This beautiful teaser is for a new game coming to PC from Tindalos Interactive. It’s called Battlefleet Gothic: Armada and even in teaser form it looks glorious.
I love this game. Turn based, ship to ship combat in space with some of the best looking models I’ve seen. We don’t know a whole lot about what this game actually entails, but you can bet there will be humans, Orks (they’re spelled with a K that’s how you know they belong in space), Eldar (space elves) and Chaos (demon possessed humans and creatures) involved.
Watch the teaser. Watch it. Oh, and if they don’t announce that a Warmaster game is coming soon I’m going to be very cross.
Did you play Bravely Default? How about 3D Dot Heroes? Well, the developers behind those games, Silicon Studios, are truly talented. You see, people may see these games and think the studio behind them just specializes in these kinds of visuals. Well, they would be wrong. Last year, Silicon Studio showed off the very impressive Mizuchi graphics engine. This year, they’re one-upping what they did last year and are showing off a new engine named Paradox with a beautiful tech demo named Industrial Robot. Check it out!
Over the past few years, Attack on Titan has grown to become one of the most popular anime series’ worldwide. When news came out that an Attack on Titan game was going to 3DS it was only a matter of time that the game would get localized. Well a month ago, in the April Fools Direct, it was revealed that Atlus would be localizing Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains and the game would arrive sometime in May. Now we have an official date. Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains will be terrorizing your 3DS May 12 in North America. The game will be sold via the eShop for $39.99 and there will be a free 3DS theme available.
Unfortunately, there’s some bad news. The game has been delayed in Europe due to copyright issues. Atlus is doing everything in their power to get the game out though, so don’t worry, it’s still coming. In Europe the game will be titled “Shingeki no Kyojin: Humanity in Chains” and the free theme will also be available. Atlus will give a release date as soon as they can for Europe.
Over the years, Square Enix has put out quite a few tech demo’s. Whether it was showing off what Final Fantasy XI could look like on Xbox 360 under the codename Rapture, showing off what Final Fantasy VII would look like on PS3, or showing off the tech for a game that’s actually coming out, Square Enix has a history of showing off their tech. Well, they’re at it again. Square Enix shown off a new tech demo at Microsoft’s 2015 Build conference and boy was it a jaw dropper. The tech demo, titled Witch Chapter 0 [cry], was used to show off what DirectX 12 could achieve. Let me tell you, this engine is pushing visuals that are easily on par with what you see in movies.

Remember that game Yooka-Laylee? You should, it was just revealed yesterday! Well Playtonic Games launched the Kickstarter for it today and within one hour they reached their goal of £175,000. As I write this, they’re currently at £688,134 and growing. They’re also already over half way through their stretch goals.
Playtonic Games is comprised of only seven people, but together they have over 100 years of combined experience in games. For The Sound design, David Wise of Donkey Kong Country fame and Grant Hope the composer Banjo-Kazooie will be working on the soundtrack and Steve Burke who did the sound effects in Banjo and Conker will be doing the sound effects.
I dare you to watch these trailers for Persona 4: Dancing All Night and not have the uncontrollable urge to buy the game. Just watch out for Tanaka. He’ll try to sell you some amazing commodities.

We learned almost a year ago at E3 2014 that a new Star Wars Battlefront game is in the works. Since then the game went silent for the most part with not much talked about. That changed recently when we started getting little teases. Today however we got a reveal trailer and let me tell you, the force is strong with this one.
Dice also revealed to IGN that the game won’t have a campaign but rather a mission mode. The decision to do this was so that you could play the battles of the original Trilogy without forcing you down a story. The mission mode can be played single player, local mulplayer co-op via split-screen, or online co-op. The missions will be two players split-screen for sure though this may change for online. They also went on to state that the original two games were all about multiplayer and they wanted to keep that style going with this one.
Square Enix’s new mobile RPG, Mobius Final Fantasy (previously titled Mevius), just received a new trailer. The trailer gives us a better look at the jobs, the battles, and the story.
Not much is known about this game but what we do know is the game is focuses on the “Warrior of Light” and will feature a more classic style. It’s produced by Yoshinori Kitase and has Kazushige Nojima as the scenario writer.
Mobius Final Fantasy is due out this winter in Japan.
This game is coming, that’s confirmed. At least for Japan and it will release in 2016. It’s Monster Hunter. It’s got a really cool art style. It’s got a Rathian, a Tigrex and a fat Felyne. All of those things are okay in my book. Here’s a trailer for the game. It’s pretty much all we know at this point.
Atlus loves to show off the characters from their games. Each one basically gets their own press release and trailer. We saw a lot leading up to the release of Etrian Mystery Dungeon. Next on the horizon is Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold. Playing the new story mode will give you access to the Fafnir Knight. According to the press release:
When you start down the path of Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold’s Story mode (as opposed to Classic mode!), you take charge as the game’s protagonist — a sworn bodyguard of Princess Arianna! One of the first places you head to is called Ginnungagap, which naturally should be devoid of any monsters or anything else dangerous. Right? Right.
Oh wait no, this is an Etrian Odyssey game. Peril will come at you from around every corner, and that’s without taking into consideration the ever-present threat of FOEs ruining your day. Fortunately, not only is the protagonist a skilled bodyguard, but he also can harness the power of the Fafnir and can transform into a beastly demonic form to access new abilities in the heat of battle.
Of course, how he got this power and what it means is an entirely different story altogether; the only way to find out about it is to play through EO2U’s Story mode!
Etrian Odyssey 2 Untold: The Fafnir Knight releases sometime this Summer for the Nintendo 3DS. Here’s a trailer showing the knight in action.
