In this weeks episode the NintendPals try out a brand new section for the show, they chat about some upcoming games including one that Myles found on a sketchy website and as always we talk about we’ve been spending our playing this week. Also Myles got drunk and played Mario Kart 8 again and Nick had an ill family member.
We love the Power Rangers. Mostly the Mighty Morphin’ kind. After that, things get weird. Take Power Ranger Dino Thunder for the GameCube as an example. You walk around as a robot dinosaur and collect other robot dinosaur bones. At least I think that’s what happened.
This week on the NintendPals podcast Myles and Nick discuss the latest Mario Kart DLC and 200cc mode – specifically how neither of them could work out how to actually access the thing. They also talk about various ways to either not spend money or save it and have another rant about the state of Amiibo stock.
Myles and Nick have a huge announcement to kick off this very special 10th edition of the NintendPals podcast. After that, normal business resumes with a thin news week, chats about what we’ve been spending our time playing (Nick has added another retro console to his growing collection) and we run down our top games of 2014. Oh and we announce the winner of our League of Heroes competition.
Get ready to plug into adventure as we clean up after a lazy father, watch a depressed little girl color, hear a mom yell through a door, walk into trippy rooms filled with eyes and talk to toys when they come to life at night. It’s Chibi-Robo! for the GameCube.
One may rent this game thinking it’s like PSO. One may be wrong. It’s not all bad though as you can still do magic and stuff.
What is the first thing you need to make a giant omelette? A giant egg! But first we have to find it in this week’s Go Round, Billy Hatcher And The Giant Egg. I’m going to be honest with y’all. We have no idea what is going on with this game; even more so than normal. We do however find a Pokemon, a chicken suit and almost get past the first area. All while yelling at Will. Someone tell us what we should have done in the comments.
And this is what it’s like to go even further beyond! Well not really. Buy in this week’s Go Round of DBZ Budokai 2, Will and Peter kind of figure out what they are doing. Too bad Will lost in the first round of the tournament. And by the way, the thing Master Roshi rides during the load screens is called Baby Gamalot.
This week Tony, Will and Peter take a go at the best skating game ever created. I mean, seriously, who doesn’t want to skate around the jungle following a trail of “yellow mist”? Disney’s Extreme Skate Adventure takes center stage this week.
