In this weeks episode the NintendPals try out a brand new section for the show, they chat about some upcoming games including one that Myles found on a sketchy website and as always we talk about we’ve been spending our playing this week. Also Myles got drunk and played Mario Kart 8 again and Nick had an ill family member.
This week on the NintendPals podcast Myles and Nick discuss the latest Mario Kart DLC and 200cc mode – specifically how neither of them could work out how to actually access the thing. They also talk about various ways to either not spend money or save it and have another rant about the state of Amiibo stock.
The one figure in the new Super Mario line of amiibo figures that is not available for individual purchase right now is the Mario figure. He is only currently available in the bundle for Mario Party 10. That will change in less than two weeks when, according to Nintendo of Canada the figure will go on sale beginning April 3rd.
This news appears to be confirmed by Nintendo of America. So, good news for anyone wanting to get that figure without having to buy a copy of the game.
This is one of those ideas that I wish I had thought of. This is a great idea. He’s taken a pair of Mario and Luigi figures and photographs them in interesting and unusual places. You have to check out this set of photos and I might have to start doing something like this. My son loves the Mario toys we have and likes to take pictures as well, maybe I can make it a project for him.

Charles Martinet, the man behind the voice, has posted to his Twitter account that Mario will be available to talk to, in real time, at the Nintendo World Store in Manhattan beginning Friday, November 27th. These appearances will be from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm every day until December 31st. People will be able to go into the store and chat with the mustachioed plumber.
Anyone in the New York area should head out and send us a report.
