Does anyone on this podcast even play games anymore? We spend a really long time discussing Devil Survivor 2, and I don’t mean the plot or gameplay, I mean what it even is. You’ll see. Another Okie Cast, another Monday. I hope it helps.

April is almost here and Xenoblade Chronicles 3D is right around the corner. Of course, like any new game, there’s all sorts of advertising going on for it. Cardboard pop out mini stands at game stores, the official website being opened, a new sit down presentation right before release… all of these are present.
Of course, these are the usual for a new game. What isn’t the usual however, is a live performance of the game’s music. And of course, despite us not being there, it was recorded. Nintendo put five songs played live up on their youtube page. Those songs include the Main Theme, Gaur Plain, Mechanical Rhythm, Engage the Enemy, and You Will Know Our Names. Go ahead and give them a listen!

If you’re looking to get a copy of Xenoblade Chronicles 3D digitally, you’ll need to invest in a larger micro SD card. According to the Xenoblade Chronicles 3D UK page you’ll need an 8GB or larger micro SD card.
The download version of Xenoblade Chronicles 3D does not fit on the microSD card included with New Nintendo 3DS and New Nintendo 3DS XL systems: an 8GB or larger microSD card is required to download this game from Nintendo eShop.
Again, this is only for those who get the game digitally. For those intending on getting the physical version of the game, this won’t matter. Xenoblade Chronicles 3D is right around the corner with an April 2nd release for Japan and Europe and an April 10th release for North America.
Nintendo announced a new Japanese Nintendo Direct for Xenoblade Chronicles X on March 6th. The direct will be similar to the one from last time however this time the focus will be on combat. You can catch the new Nintendo Direct at 8 AM on the East Coast, 7 AM Central, 5 AM on the West Coast, and 1 PM in the UK. Xenoblade Chronicles X will be getting a late April release in Japan though there’s still no word on when we’ll see it in the America’s and Europe. This is unfortunate too, I need to sink my teeth into this juicy steak soon.
In other Xenoblade news, a new trailer has been released for Xenoblade Chronicles 3D. The new trailer named “Heir to the Monado” makes story the focus. It’s definitely a good trailer to see for those on the fence and want to get an idea of what the game has to offer without spoilers. Definitely check it out! Xenoblade Chronicles 3D will be out April 2nd in Europe and Japan and April 10th in North America.
